Mud's Mission

A dying hermit mage, ancient and frail, fumbles a simple spell. His heart gives out mid-incantation, leaving a mud automaton only half-formed. This crude golem, named Mud, awakens with one final command burned into its mechanical mind: protect the master's home at any cost. With literal-minded, inhuman logic, Mud pursues absolute perfection in its duty. Nothing in the universe will threaten that home. This lighthearted RPG-lit tale follows a protagonist who defies common sense, wielding skills and levels. Beware, though: beneath the quirky surface lurk disturbing scenes of mind control and torture.
